I’ve always been an enthusiast of vintage collection and pieces because they remind me of how simple and classy the past was. Memorabilia of yesterday that are just pure perfection and elegance.
Now, the question is how can I incorporate my style to my love for vintage pieces? Being on Pinterest every day, I’ve came across a quote “In a world full of Kim Ks, be an Audrey Hepburn.”
How can I be an ‘Audrey’ if almost everything that is being sold in the stores are K-inspired outfits and alike? Believe me, it’s always the first thing that I search for whenever I come to the stores- a vintage piece that I can pull off and of course justify its beauty. But I’ve never seen any, like nothing, really. And then I got tired of searching for it. FINE, GET OVER IT.
And then one day, I was walking in a local store, just browsing, looking around, without the vintage fever on my mind, a cute ‘little’ red dress caught my attention. It is a modern-vintage casual dress that I’m pretty sure I can pull off. It was a no brainer! YOU.ARE.MINE. I got it in a split second. Well, I guess it’s really true, you’ll find ‘something’ in the most unexpected time and place, and when you’re not looking for it huh?
